ReadSmart 2
ReadSmart 2 is based on different scientific principles from ReadSmart 1. Our
proprietary technology adjusts every character differentially based on linguistic,
psychological, and visual principles, allowing text to be compressed or expanded
by up to 10% to flexibly tailor it to desired layout constraints, such as length, style,
or aesthetics. ReadSmart 2 technology also improves reading comprehension and
enjoyment in addition to managing and controlling text length. This technology allows
for (1) significant paper savings, (2) more attractive and efficient use of available
space, and (3) larger type or leading to be used with the original amount of paper
or screen size. As with ReadSmart 1 technology, using ReadSmart 2 results in unobtrusive
benefits and can be integrated with any text editing, publishing, or display program.
